Historic Downtown Yankton is proud to serve you, our Local Business!  As a non-profit organization that operates as a full partner with the City of Yankton and with the support of the Yankton Area Chamber of Commerce, HDY exists to create a united atmosphere within a unique downtown district that is consistent with the preservation of its historic character, while at the same time stimulating economic growth.  Membership in our organization not only benefits your business, but gives you the opportunity to be a proud participant of our historic district.

Who Can Join?

We invite anyone interested in the preservation and growth of Historic Downtown Yankton.  Members are encouraged to participate and make a difference in the organization whether it is through dollars or your time spent on a committee.  If you are interested in the organization, we invite you to attend one our general membership meetings held the 2nd Tuesday of each month.  All downtown supporters are encouraged to attend to network with members and investors to learn more about the work of the organization.

There are several benefits to becoming a member of our organization.  Member benefits not only include personal satisfaction, but participation of yourself, employees or your business in sponsored events, the opportunity to network with other members, additional advertising opportunities to the community, inclusion on our website that promotes your business as a HDY Member and the opportunity to make a difference in your community.

Cost to Join?

Historic Downtown Yankton has recently reduced our dues while incorporating Sponsorship Levels within the Events to accommodate all downtown businesses, large or small.  In doing so we hope that we have enabled more businesses to become members.  By incorporating the Corporate Sponsorship Levels in addition to the base membership dues, this allows HDY to showcase all our members who want to help in the growth of our association.

• Annual Dues

  Our annual dues are $120 for each individual Business.  This dues can be paid in full with a cash or check or HDY will work with your business to setup automatic payments from your bank account on a monthly or quarterly basis.

• Corporate Sponsorship Levels

  Historic Downtown Yankton offers area businesses the opportunity to be a "sponsor" of our major events.  Sponsorship not only allows HDY to receive the additional funding necessary to host these events, but promotes your business on a new level during the event.  The four areas a sponsorship are Platinum, Gold, Silver and Volunteer.  Pricing for sponsorship levels range from $1500 per event down to $250 per event.  Please refer to our Partners & Sponsors Page for more information.
